JEE (Advanced) 2024 is a competitive exam conducted by the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) for admission to various undergraduate programs across IITs. Through JEE (Advanced), IITs offer admission into undergraduate courses leading to Bachelors, Integrated Masters, Bachelor-Master Dual Degree in Engineering, Sciences, or Architecture. Both Bachelors and Masters degrees are awarded to candidates enrolled in the dual degree programs upon successful completion of the course curriculum requirements.

Eligibility Criteria to Appear in JEE Advanced Exam
- Age Limit: Candidates should have been born on or after October 1, 1999. SC, ST, and PwD candidates are given a relaxation of five years.
- Educational Qualification:
- Candidates must have appeared for the Class XII (or equivalent) examination for the first time in either 2023 or 2024 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
- Candidates who appeared in Class XII (or equivalent) examination for the first time in 2022 or earlier are not eligible.
- JEE (Main) 2024 Score:
- Indian nationals must write the JEE (Main) 2024 paper for admission to B.E./B.Tech. programs conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
- Candidates should be among the top 2,50,000 successful candidates (including all categories) in the B.E./B.Tech. paper of JEE (Main) 2024.
- Number of Attempts: A candidate can attempt JEE (Advanced) a maximum of two times in two consecutive years.
