The Directorate of Women & Child Development, Assam, has issued a job notification for the recruitment of 315 posts under the “Shakti Sadan” program for various districts under the Women and Child Development (WCD) Department, Assam. 1. Resident Superintendent

• Number of Posts: 35
• Educational Qualification & Experience: Any woman with a Masters in Law/Social Work/Sociology/Social Science/Psychology and at least 5 years of experience in women-related domains in an administrative setup. Preferably, 1-year experience in counseling. Preference will be given to candidates from the local community.

2. Office Assistant

• Number of Posts: 35
• Educational Qualification & Experience: A graduate with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in handling office documentation. Proficiency in computer operation is required.

3. Multi-purpose Staff

• Number of Posts: 70
• Educational Qualification & Experience: Literate with knowledge/experience in the relevant domain. High School pass or equivalent preferred.

4. Cook

• Number of Posts: 70
• Educational Qualification & Experience: Literate with knowledge/experience in cooking. High School pass or equivalent preferred.

5. Security Guard/Night Guard

• Number of Posts: 105
• Educational Qualification & Experience: At least 2 years’ experience as a security personnel in a government or reputed organization. Preferably retired military/paramilitary personnel.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Age Limit: 21 to 38 years as of 01.01.2022
• Age Relaxation: 5 years for SC, 5 years for STP/STH
• Citizenship: Indian Citizens
