SC Scholarship 2024
The Directorate of Welfare of Scheduled Castes and Other Backward Classes, Assam, has announced the official notification for the Assam SC Scholarship Scheme. This scheme offers Pre-Matric and Post-Matric scholarships for students belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC) and Other Backward Classes (OBC) in Assam for the academic year 2023-2024. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online through the National Scholarship Portal (NSP) at www.scholarships.gov.in.

Eligibility Criteria:
- Community: Only SC Community Students are eligible.
- Citizenship: Open to Indian nationals only.
- State of Domicile: Applicants must be domiciled in Assam.
- Family Restriction: All children of any parent/guardian are entitled to benefits.
Income Ceiling:
- Pre-Matric (Class-IX & X) [Component-I] and Post-Matric Scholarship: Parental/guardian’s income should not exceed Rs. 2.5 lakhs per annum.
- Pre-Matric (Class I-X) [Component-II] Scholarship: No income bar for children of those Engaged in Occupation involving Cleaning and Prone to Health Hazards.

- Fill in the application form with required details and upload documents.
- Submit the form and take a printout for reference.
