Eligibility Criteria:
Essential Qualification for ESIC Recruitment 2024
- Option A: B.Sc. (Hons.) in Nursing from a recognized University or Institute, or Regular course in B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized University or Institute, or Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized University or Institute; and Registered as a nurse or nurse and mid-wife with State Nursing council.
- OR Option B: Diploma in General Nursing Mid-Wifery from a recognized Board or Council; and Registered as a nurse or nurse and mid-wife with State Nursing Council; One year experience in minimum fifty bedded hospital after acquiring the educational qualification at Option B.
Age Limit: 18 to 30 years as on the cut-off date.

Selection Process:
Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will conduct a pen & paper based Recruitment Test (RT) to short-list the candidates for recruitment to the post of Nursing Officer.
Date of test: 7th July 2024
Duration of test: The test will be of two hours duration
Medium of test: The medium of the test will be English.
Centres of test in Assam: Dispur and Jorhat
Type of question: Object type MCQ
Negative marking: Every wrong answer will carry a deduction of one-third of the marks assigned to that question.
