Essential Qualification & Experience: PG Degree/ DNB in Relevant Discipline from a university/Institute recognised by MCI, with at least 03 years post qualification experience in a recognised Medical College/Hospital/ Institution.
Upper Age Limit: 41 Years [as on 30.04.2021]
Pay Scale: Rs. 32,900-3%-₹58,000
Relaxation in upper age limit: Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC (NCL) candidates
with respect to posts reserved for them.
Selection Process of SAIL Medical Officer Recruitment
Medical Officer Dental/ OHS/ GDMO: Selection will be through Written Examination/ Computer Based Test (CBT) and interview. Eligible candidates will be required to appear in the Written Examination/ CBT at Kolkata. Test centre mentioned is tentative and may be changed without prior notice.
Medical Specialist: Selection will be through interview. The minimum qualifying marks in the interview will be 50% for Unreserved/ EWS category and 40% for SC/ ST/ OBC (NCL)/ PWD category. For final selection, the merit list shall be drawn up based on the performance of the candidates in the interview.

SC/ ST/ PWD/ ESM/Departmental Candidate- NIL
MODE OF PAYMENT:
- State Bank of India (SBI) has been authorized to collect the application / processing fee in a specially opened Power Jyoti Account No.32469839252 at SBI, CAG Branch, Kolkata, on behalf of SAIL-RMD.
- Candidate has to approach any State Bank of India branch (having Core Banking facilities) with a printout of the“SBI challan” which is available on the SAIL Carrers Portal.
- The SBI challan printed from the portal, duly filled in by the candidate in the space specified should only be used for depositing the fee for proper crediting of amount in the allocated account. Candidates should retain a copy of the bank challan with them.
- On receipt of the money, the concerned branch of SBI will issue a unique Journal Number and the Branch Code of the Bank.
- The candidate will have to bear the Bank Charges to be paid to the collection branch of SBI in addition to the applicable Application fee.
- The SBI branches will accept the fee during banking hours from 01.04.2021 to 30.04.2021.
- Fee shall not be collected by any other mode. In case a candidate deposits the fee in a wrong account or doesn’t send the application form with SBI Challan, SAIL-RMD will not be responsible.

Eligible and interested candidates should send their duly filled in application as per the prescribed APPLICATION FORMAT given at Annexure-I, neatly typed/ written in capital letter on a plain paper of A-4 size, furnishing details with latest passport size coloured photograph with cross signed in full signature pasted on it along with the self-attested copies of following documents, an envelope containing application must be superscribed “Application for the Post of against Advt.
