Pay: Rs.22,000 – Rs.97,000 + Grade Pay Rs.9,400/- along with other allowances applicable as per rules.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should hold a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University with a diploma in Stenography in English, having a minimum speed of 100 words per minute in shorthand and 40 words per minute on a computer. Preference will be given to candidates with a law degree.

Stenographer Grade-III

Pay: Rs.14,000 – Rs.70,000 + Grade Pay Rs.7,400/- along with other allowances applicable as per rules.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University with a diploma in Stenography in English, having a minimum speed of 80 words per minute in shorthand and 30 words per minute on a computer. Preference will be given to candidates with a law degree.

Library Assistant

Pay: Rs.14,000 – Rs.70,000 + Grade Pay Rs.7,600/- along with other allowances applicable as per rules.

Educational Qualification:

Must hold a graduate degree from a recognized university.
Must possess a degree or diploma in Library Science from a recognized university.
Must have proficiency in the use of computers.
Preference will be given to candidates with a Law degree.

Other Criteria of Gauhati High Court:

Age Limit: Candidates should not be older than 40 years as of February 15, 2024.

Age Relaxation: Category-wise age relaxation is as follows:

OBC/MOBC: 3 years
SC: 5 years
STP/STH: 5 years
PwBD: 10 years

Proof of Residency: Candidates must possess a valid Registration Number from the Employment Exchange for the State of Assam.
