Eligibility Criteria
Master of Arts (MA) Courses:
Bachelor’s Degree with Major/ Honours in the relevant subject securing at least 45% marks or equivalent grade point. OR
Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks in the relevant subject and 45% marks in aggregate in case of the candidates of General Programme or equivalent grade point.
Master of Science (MSc) Courses:
Bachelor’s Degree with Major/ Honours in the relevant subject securing at least 45% marks or equivalent grade point. OR
Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks in the relevant subject and 45% marks in aggregate in case of the candidates of General Programme or equivalent grade point.
Master of Commerce (MCom) Courses:
Bachelor’s Degree with Major/ Speciality/ Honours in the relevant subject securing at least 45% marks or equivalent grade point. OR
Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks in the relevant subject and 45% marks in aggregate in case of the candidates of General Programme or equivalent grade point.
Note:
a. Candidates appeared/ appearing in the 6th Semester B.A., B.Sc., B. Com Examinations, 2020 and waiting for their results are eligible to appear. in the DUPGET 2020 and can get provisional admission if selected.
b. Candidates appeared/ appearing in the Final Semester Examinations and waiting for results but have backlog in 2nd and/ or 4″ Semester Examinations are also eligible to appear in the DUPGET 2020 and can get provisional admission if selected.

Exam Details
- The DUPGET shall be of 100 Marks and of 2 (two) hours duration.
- It shall be conducted in a single paper of the concerned subject containing 100 Objective Type Multiple Choice questions carrying 1 (one) mark each.
- The Question Paper shall be in English excluding the language subjects.
- There shall be a provision of negative marking of .25 (point two five) mark for incorrect response to a question.
- The candidate shall be required to appear the DUPGET in the OMR Sheet and the evaluation process shall be done by the automated electronically operated system.
- The DUPGET score shall be valid for admission in the current academic session 2020-2021 only.

1. Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA)
Duration: 3 Years with 6 Semesters
Intake Capacity: 60
Eligibility: Candidates having passed Higher Secondary (10+2) examination securing minimum of 45% marks in aggregate with Mathematics/ Commercial Arithmetic/ Statistics as one of the subjects in 10+2, wherein pass mark is a must. The candidates must have to pass the 10+2 examinations before the commencement of end semester examination of the 1st semester. Relaxation of 5% marks will be given to the candidates of reserved categories.
2. Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)
Duration: 3 Years with 6 Semesters
Seat Capacity: 40
Eligibility: Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) in Arts, Science or Commerce of the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) or an equivalent examination (10+2) recognized as such by the University with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) in aggregate.

Eligibility: A candidate for admission in to the Five- year B.A.LL.B. (Hons) Course shall have to pass the Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) or an equivalent examination securing at least 45% in aggregate of the total marks with relaxation of 5% marks for SC/ST and 3% for OBC candidates.
Free Structure: Course fee per semester Rs. 15,000/- (at present) with Admission fee 2,380/-.
4. Integrated M.Sc. in Physics
Duration: 5 Years
Eligibility: HS (Science) or Equivalent Examination passed with 60% of marks in aggregate and 60% marks in aggregate in Physics and Mathematics.
Selection: Selection will be done only on the basis of merit based on the marks obtained in 10+2 examination.
Free Structure: Course fee per semester Rs. 10000/- (at present) and Admission fee: 6000/- (approx.).
5. BA in Performing Arts (CBCS)

- Pass in Two-year Diploma- in Pharmacy examination from any institute of Assam recognized by the PCI and AICTE.

How to apply for Dibrugarh University Admission 2020
Step 1: Scroll down, check Important Web Link‘s section.
Step 2: Click on Online Application Link.
Step 3: Enter your Full Name, Username, Password, and a Mobile Number to login. The candidate will get an “Activation Code” in the Mobile Number which is to be entered for Activation.
Step 4: After Activation, the candidates shall be required to log in with his/ her user name and password and shall be required to fill up the Online Application with correct and appropriate information.
Step 5: The applicants shall be required to pay the Application Fee of Rs. 500/- only through the online payment gateway by using Debit (ATM) Card/Credit Card/ Internet Banking during the submission of the form.
Step 6: The applicants can save and review the information entered before submission, which can be edited on subsequent login. However, after submission, the editing of information shall not be possible.
Step 7: On submission of the Online Application Form by an applicant, an Acknowledgement Card with a Unique Number shall be generated against each successful submission of the Application. The Candidates shall have to take a print out of the Acknowledgement Card and Application Form to produce before the relevant departmental Office of the University whenever asked to do the same.
