Assam Police Recruitment 2020 Platoon Commander – 40 Posts – In continuation to this office advertisement issued on 19-03-2020 and published on 22-03-2020 in leading newspapers in the Assam for recruitment of 35 posts of Platoon Commander under Directorate of Civil Defence and Home Guards, Assam, it is for general information that the Govt. of Assam has given approval for recruitment of another 5 posts of Platoon Commander under Directorate of Civil Defence and Home Guards. As such, the total posts of Platoon Commander under Directorate of Civil Defence and Home Guards will be 40.
The candidates who did not apply earlier in pursuance to advertisement dated 19-03-2020 due to noncompletion of graduation (minimum Educational Qualification) at the time of advertisement or other reasons, can submit online application w.e.f. 17-08-2020 to 26-08-2020 through SLPRB website www.slprbassam.in. However, the candidates who applied earlier in pursuance to the advertisement issued on 19-03-2020 need not apply again.

Pay: Rs. 14000- 49000 (Pay Band No. 2) plus Grade Pay Rs. 8700
Age: Candidate should not be more than 38 years and less than 18 years of age as on 1st January 2020 (Candidate must be born on or before 01-01-2002 and on or after 01-01-1982).
Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by:-
(i) 5 (five) years in respect of candidates belonging to SC, ST (H) and ST (P).
(ii) 3 (three) years in respect of candidates belonging to OBC/MOBC.
Essential Qualification: The candidate must be a graduate in Arts, Science, Commerce or equivalent stream from a recognized College / Institutions affiliated to a recognized University.
Other Qualification: NCC ‘B’ Certificate OR Home Guards Training Certificate.
Application Fee: There will be no application fee.

Applications must be submitted online through the SLPRB website (www.slprbassam.in). Only online applications will be received with effect from 23-03-2020 and the last date of receiving applications will be 11-04-2020 15-06-2020.
