Age: 18-25 years as on 01-07-2020. Candidates should not have been born earlier than 02-07-1995 and later than 01-07-2002. Age relaxation is applicable as per rules.
Eligibility Criteria:
10+2 (Senior Secondary) passed from a recognized Board. Educational qualification is relaxable up to 11th passed for the:
- Sons/ daughters of serving retired or deceased Delhi Police Personnel/ Multi-Tasking Staff of Delhi Police, and
- Bandsmen, buglers, mounted constables, drivers, dispatch riders, etc. of Delhi Police only.
- Male candidates must possess a valid driving license for LMV (Motor Cycle or Car) as on the date of PE&MT. Learner License is not acceptable.
Application Fee: Rs 100/- (Rs One hundred only).
- Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST) and Ex-servicemen (ESM) eligible for reservation are exempted from payment of a fee.
- Fee can be paid online through BHIM UPI, Net Banking, by using Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, RuPay Credit or Debit cards or in cash at SBI Branches by generating SBI Challan.
Selection Process
Under this recruitment for the Delhi Police Constable Recruitment, the candidates will be selected on the basis of the following:
- Computer-Based Examination: 100 Marks
- Physical Endurance & Measurement Tests(PE&MT): Qualifying in Nature
How To Apply
Applications must be submitted in online mode only through the official website of SSC Headquarters i.e. https://ssc.nic.in.
Step 1: Click on link of Apply Link given on the page. The registration link will open up in the new window.
Step 2: Click on New Registration in the Delhi Police Constable application window and then click on the register button.
Step 3: Firstly, candidates need to provide basic details like name, parents’ name, date of birth, email id, mobile number etc.
Step 4: Click on the submit button to submit your completed online form of Delhi Police Constable 2020.. Verify your details before submitting the form. All the candidates will be issued Registration ID.
Step 5: Candidates are supposed to login with the provided Registration ID, date of birth and password to complete registration for Delhi Police Constable 2020.
Step 6: In the next step, candidates must upload photograph and signature following the requisites mentioned as below:
Photograph – The photograph must be clicked in front of white color or light colored background and must be more than 4 kb in size and less than 12 kb. The photograph resolution must be 100*120 pixels in width and height.
Signature – The signature must be in black or blue ink on a white sheet. The scanned copy of the signature must be in jpg format and it should be more than 1 kb in size and less than 12 kb. The resolution should be 40*60 pixels in width and height.
Step 7: Log in with registered ID and password to fill up the Part-II of the online form of Delhi Police Constable.
Step 8: After filling up the application form, candidates need to preview the entire application form of Delhi Police Constable to look for any glitches in the form. Verify the entire data entered by you.
Step 9: Click on Final Submit button after previewing the entire online Delhi Police Constable application form. It is recommended that Candidates download and get print copies of submitted application form of Delhi Police Constable 2020.
Step 10: Lastly, candidates can advance to submit the application fee for Delhi Police Constable either via online mode or in cash at SBI Branches by generating SBI Challan.
